LCAs are no longer a ‘trend’, as many European legacy carriers liked to think a decade ago. On the contrary, LCAs have evolved into a crucial part of the air transport industry. They prove that the industry still has the capacity to adapt to new environments and evolve. Significantly, this mode of transport has been adopted by many different types of travellers – not only passengers travelling for leisure purposes, but also increasingly business travellers.
