This report discusses the penetration, usage and popularity of debit cards as a form of payment for goods and services in Ireland in 2005. To facilitate this, Mintel will highlight the penetration of debit cards among consumers as a convenient and cost-effective electronic payment method, as opposed to using cash or credit cards.
